We all know that we tend to rise (or fall) to the level of those we commune with most. The most successful people spend a lot of time hanging out and learning with other successful people.

Jim Rohn famously said, “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with”. In my house, we grew up with a lot of Brain Tracy’s influence, who always encouraged people to surround themselves with other people who are operating at the level they want to be at. Zig Ziglar taught the same and I had the privilege of being the primary voice for Zig after he passed away.

Yet so many people are more isolated today than ever before, including lots of very driven people. Entrepreneurs especially tend to feel really isolated.

Which community is right for you?

There are countless online communities to join. Which one(s) will fit you best and provide a lasting benefit? At the end of the day, it’s in your best interest to choose a group that aligns most with your core values. One that will be as dedicated to supporting your success as they are their own, and one who will be engaged in topics that truly provide you value, as you don’t need something else to give your attention to unless it pays off.

My father believed in the power of collaboration and the collective mind. His Eagles Community wasn’t just a part of his business, it was part of who he came to be. Their journeys were intertwined and they all rose together.

Dad knew we could all go further, faster, and enjoy the ride if we do it together, supporting and inspiring each other along the way.

Here’s some of the story of how my father and I first started developing a community together, and how it brings us to today with the Drive Tribe, our fourth generation in building a meaningful community.

The story begins 17 years ago.

2007-2008 | 212 Connection

• Dan Miller & Kevin Miller created a community to help train coaches to improve and expand their business.

• We began conducting live events at the Franklin, TN Sanctuary, called "Fantastic Fridays".

• Dan became busy with the writing of his second book, No More Mondays, and to honor his family commitments, he needed to step away from involvement with the community.

• Kevin found great joy in the community and wanted to expand it and include more diversity of people and a broader range of pursuits, and created Free Agent Academy.

2009-2015 | Free Agent Academy

• Over 1,000 members came through, paying $95/month.

• We hosted 12 events. The first was at Dan Miller's "Sanctuary" in TN, the rest took place in Woodland Park, Colorado where Kevin resides and he rented out entire Colorado Camps.

• The community was a great success, but Kevin admittedly burnt out (happy to share that story another time) and shut it down to pursue other ventures, which included consulting for Ziglar, Inc. which led to him revamping and starting The Ziglar Show podcast.

2017-2024 | 48 Days Eagles

• Now at a different stage of life, Dan was intrigued by the increasing success and value of online communities and launched the 48 Days Eagles along with his daughter, Ashley Logsdon (son/brother Jared Angaza helped develop the brand and offering)

• The community was a great success. Many of the Free Agent Academy members came over and are still involved today.

• On Jan. 21, 2024, Dan passed away, just 48 days (yes, that actually happened) after receiving a surprise pancreatic cancer diagnosis. He and Ashley (who has directed 48 Days along with Dan for 20 years) decided to sunset the community rather than try and continue in his absence.

• Instead, they opted to direct members to other resources, such as...

2022-2024 | Drive Tribe

• In 2022, Kevin began a beta-online community to coincide with his coming book, What Drives You. He hand-selected 30 people to begin and never promoted beyond that.

• For two years he and this small group have met every week and enjoyed creating close friendships and helping each other grow and expand our personal and businesses and lives.

• On January 29, 2024, Kevin, along with his brother Jared Angaza, opened the doors to some of the 48 Days Eagles community and are now opening to the public.

We invite you to join us as we support each other in a deeper, more meaningful, connected, and prosperous life, where we are all able to drive further, and thoroughly enjoy the ride.

WHAT IS THE PRIMARY FOCUS?

212 Connection focused on coaching businesses. Free Agent Academy and 48 Days Eagles focused on supporting entrepreneurship in growing their business.

The Drive Tribe gives special focus to Influencers looking to increase their influence and experience less stress and more joy and fulfillment in the process. That’s what you can expect to experience in this community.
